The intermediate programme. For drivers of categories «C1» and «C1E», and for those holding category «C» with at least three years of experience, obtained after 03.03.2024.

The programme is shorter than the full initial course because the driver has already proven part of the competences through experience. If you have no experience, you will need the full 35-day initial course.

What to prepare in advance
The package is small and can be gathered in a single evening. Copies are sent by messenger — there is no need to come to the office for this.
- Driving licence — it shows us your categories and the dates they were obtained, which determines the programme
- Ukrainian citizen passport — an ID card or the pages of a booklet passport
- Taxpayer card — the identification code
- International passport — needed for the correct transliteration of your surname and first name into Latin script. They will appear in the document exactly as written there, so it is best to avoid any discrepancy with the international passport
- Application — we send the form along with the rest of the instructions
If a document is not to hand right now, that is no reason to put off calling: in most cases the package can be completed by the time the group starts. The full list with explanations is on the Documents page.
Why the programme is shorter
The reduced initial course is a compromise between the five days of periodic training and the six weeks of the initial one. The logic is simple: if a driver already has experience or holds category «C1», there is no point covering part of the initial programme — they already have that knowledge. So the volume is cut, keeping what specifically concerns professional carriage.
This is not a «lite» version of the document. In the end you receive the same Certificate of Professional Competence and the same card marked «95», with the same five-year validity. The only difference is how much time you spend in the classroom.
How to tell whether you qualify
It all comes down to two things: which category you hold and when it was obtained. The wording in the regulations is cumbersome, so in practice the quickest way is to send us a photo of your licence. We look at the categories and the dates they were obtained and name the programme you are entitled to within a minute.
It is not worth working this out yourself from tables found online: a mistake here is costly. Sign up for the wrong programme and, at best, you will have to top up your training; at worst, take the course again. Checking costs nothing and commits you to nothing.
If it turns out the reduced programme does not fit, we will tell you straight away which one does: periodic or initial.

How does the reduced initial course differ from the initial one?
In length: 18 days against 35. The reduction is possible because you have already proven part of the competences through category «C1» or «C1E» or through at least three years of work experience.
How do I prove at least three years of experience?
With documents on your employment in the relevant category. The list depends on how exactly you worked — as an employee or as a sole trader — so we will advise you specifically by phone.
What if I only have two years of experience?
Then the reduced programme is not available — you need the 35-day initial course. The procedure allows no exceptions.
Is this programme suitable for category «CE»?
Yes, if the conditions on the obtaining date and experience are met. We will give you a precise answer based on your licence.
Can the programme be shortened even further?
No. The duration is set by the training procedure, not by the training centre.
Will the document be the same as after the initial course?
Yes. The certificate and the qualification card are identical regardless of which programme you followed.
