Can Code 95 be done online — how much training is allowed remotely
A search for «Code 95 online» almost always means one thing: the person wants it faster and without unnecessary trips. Let us look honestly at what the current Procedure allows for remote learning, and where the scam begins that ends up costing you twice.
What the Procedure says about the form of training
The form may be in person, remote or blended — the law is flexible here. But there is a clear limit: the remote part may not exceed 12 hours for the whole course. The rest has to be done in person. So moving some part of the theory online is legal, whereas «the whole course without getting off the sofa» is not.
Because of this, the wording «training in person only», which sometimes comes up, is also inaccurate. The online part does exist; it is simply small and supplements the in-person part rather than replacing it.
«Fully online in a single day» does not exist. If you are promised that, it is either a forged card or money down the drain: the training data is entered into the state register by the training centre itself, and a fictitious record simply will not appear there. How much you will actually have to attend
The volume of the course depends on which one you need. The periodic course is 35 hours, the initial reduced one is 140, and the initial one is 280. From any of them you can cover at most the same 12 hours remotely. So there will always be an in-person part — the only question is how many days it will take.
Which programme suits you depends on your category and experience. If you are not sure, it is easier to call than to guess.
How to make it convenient rather than «online»
The practical option that really saves time looks like this: the part of the theory allowed remotely you do at home, and for the in-person part you come in compactly, on specific days.
