Code 95 for drivers from Zhytomyr
From Zhytomyr to Kyiv is less than two hours of travel, and the Code 95 classes take place right here. There is no separate centre in Zhytomyr, but because of the short distance that hardly matters: we do the preparation remotely, and a trip is needed only for the in-person part. Practically like popping over to a neighbouring town on business.
The training takes place in Kyiv
We will be honest up front: we do not have a separate training centre in Zhytomyr. Code 95 classes are in person and take place in Kyiv, at Beresteiskyi Avenue, 114/2. That is about 140 km — about 1.5–2 hours by car or bus.
The law does not allow Code 95 to be completed entirely online: the online part cannot exceed 12 hours for the whole course. So the in-person part is always required, and offers to «do it online in two days» do not meet the requirements. Everything that comes before the classes, however, a driver from Zhytomyr handles without travelling.
Getting from Zhytomyr to Kyiv
Zhytomyr is linked to the capital by the M06 highway, and the journey by car or bus takes about one and a half to two hours. Minibuses and buses run throughout the day, so it is easy to fit the date of the in-person part around your schedule and even go home between classes if that is more convenient.

For a Zhytomyr driver Kyiv is practically next door, so the question of whether to go barely arises here. What matters more is this: we issue the document officially, with entry into the state system, not «by arrangement». The short journey only makes this correct path convenient as well.

How long the training lasts
This is the main thing to clarify before the trip, and it depends not on the city but on your category and the date it was opened:

Clause 27 of Procedure No. 789 lets a driver with a valid CPC for categories C1 or C obtain the certificate for C1E or CE without taking the course. The same applies for passenger categories: from D1 or D — for D1E or DE. Before planning your trip, send a photo of your licence and we will check whether this is your case.
